In Ambedkar Nagar, three miscreants assaulted the gas agency manager in Lohra Baramadpur of Mahrua police station area late this evening and snatched Rs 50,000 and fled. On receiving information about the incident, SP Dr Kaustubh and Additional Superintendent of Police Vishal Pandey reached the spot and gathered information.

SP Dr Kaustubh said that the police of Mahrua police station area received information that 35-year-old Jaiprakash son of Ram Asare, who lived in Baramadpur Lohara of Mahrua police station, had 50 thousand rupees with him. Three miscreants snatched the money from him. In this case, the police is taking further action by recording the statement of the victim and taking a written complaint. The SP said that investigation will be done by taking the footage of the CCTV camera. The accused will be arrested soon.
