Devotees performed Abhishek of Bholenath on the second Monday of Sawan

On the second Monday of Sawan, the chants of Bholenath started in the temple from 12 midnight. The Shivalaya echoed with the chants of Har Har Mahadev and Jai-Jai Shiv Shankar and the devotees of Bholenath started flocking to the temples from 12 midnight. A large number of Kanwariyas reached the temple

Hundreds of devotees were present to have darshan of Baba at Khereshwar Dham in Lodha and Achaleshwar Mahadev temple in Achaltal. The Shiva temple kept resonating with the chanting of Bholenath and Baba’s devotees kept busy in pleasing him. Baba’s Abhishek continued till late night and the queue of devotees kept on increasing.

Devotees gathered in the temple from 4 am

The Kanwariyas performed the Abhishek of Bholenath at 12 o’clock at night. Along with the Kanwariyas, other devotees of Baba also reached the temple and waited for Baba’s darshan. Since it was the month of Sawan, hundreds of devotees reached the temple at night and long queues were formed. People had to wait for hours for their turn. The Abhishek continued till 2 o’clock at night. After this, devotees of Bholenath started reaching the temple again from 4 o’clock in the morning.

There were long queues in the temples to have the darshan of Bholenath.

Diversion and no-entry remained in force

In view of the month of Sawan, the traffic police has implemented the system of route diversion and no-entry every Monday. Which starts from 10 pm on Sunday night and remains till 12 midnight the next day. In such a situation, the system of route diversion came into effect as soon as Sunday night fell and the police took control of the system.

Police force was deployed to maintain law and order in Khereshwar and Achaleshwar temple. Along with the regional police, traffic police was also engaged in maintaining law and order. More than 50 thousand devotees offer water at Khereshwar Dham on Monday, so more than 100 temple servants were engaged to maintain law and order in the temple. Along with this, monitoring was done through CCTV cameras.

There will be decoration in the evening at Khereshwar Dham

In the Siddhpeeth Khereshwar Dham temple located in Lodha, Baba Bholenath’s Maha Aarti will be performed during the day and Bhog will be offered. After this, Mahadev will be decorated grandly in the evening and Phool Bangla will be decorated. After the Phool Bangla is decorated, Jalabhishek will stop and devotees will be able to see Baba. For this, the temple management is busy in full preparations and the festival of Sawan is being celebrated in the temple with great pomp.
