The enthusiasm of Shiva devotees is worth seeing in Shravasti district today on the second Monday of Sawan. Since morning, devotees are busy moving towards Shiva temples and performing Jalabhishek, especially a huge crowd has gathered at Baba Vibhuti Nath temple. Security arrangements are also tight during this festival.

In Shravasti, the process of Jalabhishek takes place at a total of 22 temples during the month of Sawan and Kanwar devotees fill water from 6 ghats and bring it to the temples. A special crowd gathers at the Baba Vibhuti Nath temple in Sirsia area, which also includes many devotees from Nepal. Today, on the second Monday of Sawan, Shiva devotees have been performing Jalabhishek at this temple since 4:00 am and praying to Lord Shiva to fulfill their wishes.
Complete caution regarding security
On this special occasion of Saavan, complete caution has been taken regarding security arrangements. 4 inspectors, 38 sub-inspectors, 30 head constables, 72 constables, 30 women constables, one fire tender and one platoon field PSC have been deployed here. Along with this, the entire campus is being monitored through CCTV cameras, so that any untoward incident can be avoided.
