Siddharthnagar DM Dr. Rajaganapati R conducted a surprise inspection of the Community Health Center (CHC) Ucha Bazar. During the inspection, the DM inspected the registration room, inquiry center, and medicine distribution room.

Only 7 operations were conducted here last month. All of the 7 doctors posted at the CHC were present, but the MOIC comes from Naugarh, on which the DM expressed strong displeasure. He directed that all the doctors will stay near the health center.
The DM directed to prepare the duty chart of the pharmacist. He ordered to condemn the CBC machine if it breaks down. He instructed the BAM to install the CBC machine within two days, otherwise action will be initiated against the BAM. The DM expressed displeasure over the low number of deliveries compared to the registered pregnant women and instructed to call the pregnant women and motivate them to get their delivery done in the hospital itself.
There is no staff for the blood storage unit for the last 2 years
The DM also expressed strong displeasure over the closure of the blood storage unit. The MOIC said that there are no employees for the blood storage unit for the last 2 years. A total of 4 nurses are posted at the health center, out of which 2 are regular and 2 are from NHM. The DM instructed to write slogans related to awareness about prevention of TB. He said that the health center should remain open 24 hours.
Explanation sought from Chief Pharmacist
During the inspection of the medicine store room, the DM expressed strong displeasure when the maintenance of medicines was not found to be proper and directed to get an explanation from Chief Pharmacist DP Srivastava. During the inspection, MOIC Dr. SK Patel along with the concerned doctors and other employees were present.
