Two youths died in a collision between two bikes in Badaun on Sunday midnight. While two are injured. The condition of one of them remains critical. Police has taken the bodies into custody. The injured have been referred to Higher Center Bareilly. Family members say that the youth was burnt.

The accident took place near Bhud Wali Jyaraat in Ujhani Kotwali area on Bareilly-Mathura Highway. Ankit (30), son of Narsingh, resident of Mohalla Nekpur in Police Station Civil Lines area and his friend Anil son of Harnam from the same locality had gone to Kachla Ganga Ghat on Sunday evening by bike to collect water.
Both of them were returning from there at night. On the way, their bike collided with the bike of Kanwariyas coming from the opposite direction. All four were injured in the accident. Police took all of them to the medical college. Here Ankit and Anil were declared dead. While the Kanwariyas riding the other bike have been referred to Bareilly. Both are said to be from Bilsi area.
Relatives called at night
The police identified the bodies and called the family members by informing them the same night. The bodies have been sent to the post-mortem house. On getting information about the accident, CO Ujhani Shakti Singh also reached the spot.
