All the services of the Lord like awakening, swing, sleep and offering of food etc. are done on the swing for the entire 12 days. Whereas in other temples, the Lord is taken to the sanctum sanctorum every day after the swing. He is again brought on the swing the next day in the evening.

From the stairs to the peacock on the top, everything is made of silver. The entire swing is polished with gold. This swing is still one of the most attractive swings due to its artwork.
