Work has started in Lucknow’s biggest Dubagga Mandi. Here the traders had announced to stop work from 29 to 31 July. However, the shutdown was withdrawn on the very first day after talks with the Mandi Samiti. On Tuesday, the market operated as before. However, farmers and traders are protesting against the ban on the market.

Tomato wholesaler Gulfam said that business has started. However, fewer people came to work. As a result, business also decreased. Work has been started after talks with the Mandi Samiti.
As soon as the application for 100 connections is received, the connection will be added
The committee officials have assured that electricity will be connected to the Mandi after online applications for 100 connections are made. A camp was also organized in the Mandi on Monday for the connection. During this time many people applied for the connection. It is being told that electricity will be started in the Mandi in one to two days.
The number of farmers and vegetable traders was quite less on Tuesday.
Business worth Rs 3 crore was affected
Many people including Mandi traders Mintu, Gulfam and Lala Yadav say that currently more than 3 crore rupees worth of business is being done here every day. At present, mango business is also done in the Mandi. So there is more work. On Monday, business of both mango and vegetables could not be done.
Tax on all vegetables, no facilities
Traders say that nothing is available in the name of facilities here. There are 7 vegetables in the market on which 1.50% tax is levied. After that, the tax on the remaining vegetables is 1%. Earlier, greens were kept out of the tax ambit. But now they have also been included.
