After this, Additional Municipal Commissioner Atul Kumar had said in a press conference that Satvir entered the restricted zone of the Smart City office and leaked confidential information of the Smart City tender. The Additional Municipal Commissioner claimed that only after conducting a thorough investigation and scrutinizing the CCTV footage, the Municipal Commissioner laid a trap and got Satvir arrested. He also claimed to have all the evidence.

But after 2 hours, Additional Municipal Commissioner Atul Kumar reached Civil Lines police station and changed his tone. In the presence of SP City Akhilesh Bhadoria, Additional Municipal Commissioner Atul Kumar was seen giving clean chit to BJP leader Satveer at Civil Lines police station. On the other hand, according to the information, BJP leader Satveer Singh has been involved in the work of Municipal Corporation and Smart City contracts for a long time. Many other BJP leaders also visit the Municipal Corporation in connection with contracts.
