On Tuesday, a meeting of hundreds of villagers of Basarikapur was held in the Panchayat Bhawan before the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, the former district panchayat member said that children from many villages have been receiving education in this school which is more than 100 years old. Even today, there are a good number of students in this school. In this very school, many people like Acharya Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, pioneer of Hindi literature, received education and worked to improve and beautify the society.

The decision of the Basic Education Officer to show the building of this school as dilapidated and to accommodate this school at another place is completely unfair. He said that one or two rooms in the school are dilapidated, the rest of the rooms are fine. It is necessary to inspect the ground once again to know the true situation. Apart from this, the school in which the children have been accommodated.

Parents are protesting against school adjustments.

To go there, the children of this village will have to walk about half a kilometer on the national highway to reach the school. Where there is a lot of pressure of small and big vehicles. In such a situation, no parents can take a risk with the future of their children.

The villagers said that this order of the Basic Education Officer is like playing with the future of the children of this village. For this, they have also talked about meeting the District Magistrate as well as the regional MLA and Transport Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Daya Shankar Singh.

On this occasion, Shriram Pandey, Awadhesh Pandey, Yogeshwar Prasad, Janardan Prasad, Premsagar Pandey, Havildar Prajapati, Gupteshwar Pandey, Ramnath Sharma, Awadh Bihari, Jawaharlal, Arjun Paswan, Kamala Prasad, Raviprakash Tiwari, Kamlesh Kumar, Sudhir Kumar, Ramesh Kumar, Shahabuddin, Chandramohan, Baleshwar Patel, Rahul Ram, Chandu Thakur and others were present.

When asked about this matter, District Basic Education Officer Manish Kumar Singh said that the PWD department built a wall on the road. Which has become crooked. Due to which there is danger. On the report given by the Block Education Officer, the school has been adjusted for a short period. A letter has been written to the PWD department to repair the wall. As soon as the wall is repaired, teaching-learning will start.
