After the recent bus accident in Unnao in UP in which 18 people died, on the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, action against illegal buses has been intensified across the state. In this sequence, two double-decker buses running without permit in Mahoba were caught and seized by the ARTO.

ARTO takes big action against illegal buses

Mahoba’s ARTO Dayashankar said that based on information, two double-decker buses were caught during checking on the district border. The documents of these buses were not complete, after which they were seized and parked. This action of the ARTO has created panic among the illegal bus operators.

Despite strict instructions, rigging continues

Despite the strict instructions issued by the state government against illegal buses, many bus operators are running buses on the roads without permit and fitness. Recently, during the investigation of the Unnao accident, it was found that the accident bus was registered with the ARTO department of Mahoba district. Despite this, the bus mafia is not desisting from its malpractices.

Passengers were also surprised

The passengers of both the buses caught also came to know that their buses were running without permit. ARTO Dayashankar said that roadways buses are being arranged for the passengers so that they can be sent to Delhi. After this action, there is panic among the private bus operating mafias, and now they too will have to face strict action.
