In Firozabad, the police had an encounter with the accused of murdering the sister-in-law who had a court marriage with the younger brother and leaving the younger brother and his innocent son in a dying condition. In the retaliatory firing, the accused got injured when a police bullet hit his leg. The police took him to the hospital for treatment.

Late on Tuesday night, in village Kutukpur Jarkhi, angry over land dispute and marriage of sister-in-law with younger brother, younger brother’s wife Renu (32) was beaten to death with a stick while she was sleeping by her brother-in-law Keshav and brother-in-law Akhilesh. Husband Bhanu Pratap and son Yash (3) were also seriously injured. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot.
Three police teams were deployed to arrest him. Inspector Anuj Kumar was informed that the accused were hiding on Hiran village road at night. Police teams from Tundla, Pachokhara and SOG surrounded them. On seeing the police, they also opened fire on the police team with a pistol. In the retaliatory action of the police, Keshav was injured when a bullet hit his leg. Akhilesh dodged the police and fled with his bike.
SP City Sarvesh Kumar Mishra and CO Rajesh Kumar reached the spot. SP City said that one of the criminals was injured by police bullets. The other one fled from the spot. He is being searched for.
