After the first counseling for admission to the courses run in the campus of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, now counseling for the remaining seats will be organized on August 5. For the session 2024-25, admission in other courses except MBA and MCA has been postponed.

According to the release issued by Registrar Mahendra Kumar, the counselling will be for vacant seats in BA LLB, BSc Maths, BSc Bio, BSc Biotechnology Honours, BSc Environmental Science Honours, BCom, BTech (EE, RE, IT, ECE, EI), ME, BCA, D Pharma and BBA courses.

If seats remain vacant even after counselling, then the third and final counselling will be conducted on August 7. In this counselling, reserved category seats will be converted to unreserved category and candidates will be admitted.

Admission will be based on merit
Admission to BA LLB and BSc courses will be taken on the basis of merit of the exam. If seats remain vacant even after August 7, the vacant seats will be opened for online application on the university portal on August 8. Admission will be taken on the basis of merit in those courses in which entrance examination has not been conducted and the process of online application will be started from August 8.
