The case is of Holupur village of Aucha police station area. According to the information, village resident Rajveer Singh had complained to the police that Pramod Kumar, a resident of the village, who had borrowed 50 thousand rupees from him, used to quarrel when asked for money. On 29 May 2021, Rajveer’s son Guruvesh had gone to Aucha with his brother Mukesh to get pipes. While returning, Pramod, his wife Geeta and son-in-law Sanoj had a dispute with Guruvesh. Mukesh left from there to inform the family members, then the accused together killed Guruvesh.

Satyaveer and Satyendra were found not involved in the incident

On the basis of Rajveer’s complaint, the police had registered a case against Pramod, Geeta, Sanoj, Harish Kumar, Satveer, Satyendra and Suraj in Auchha police station. In the police investigation and inquiry, Satveer and Satyendra were not found involved in the incident, due to which their names were removed and a charge sheet was filed against Pramod, Geeta, Sanoj, Harish and Suraj.

The accused were taken into police custody and sent behind bars

The trial was held in the court of District Judge Sudhir Kumar. On the basis of witnesses and evidence, the court acquitted Harish and Suraj, while Pramod, Geeta and Sanoj were found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment. The court took these accused, who were on bail, into police custody and sent them behind bars.
