Like every year, this year too CM Yogi Adityanath will shower flowers from the sky on Shiva devotees. On 2nd August, i.e. today, on the occasion of Shivaratri, Friday, CM Yogi Adityanath will do an aerial tour of all three districts of Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad. During this, the Chief Minister will also visit the districts of Western UP.

CM Yogi will shower flowers on Shiv devotees at 3 big Shiv temples of western UP – Meerut’s Aughadnath, Ghaziabad’s Dudheshwar Mahadev and Baghpat’s Pura Mahadev. Also, the CM will do an aerial inspection of the Kanwar route. The Chief Minister will arrive from Lucknow to Amausi Airport at 10 am, from there he will reach Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport by state aircraft. From Hindon the CM will board the government helicopter. The CM will leave for aerial survey at 11.25. First he will go to Meerut’s Aughadnath Temple, then Baghpat’s Pura Mahadev, after that he will go to Ghaziabad’s Dudheshwar Mahadev. The CM will shower flowers on Shiv devotees for one hour.

At 3 am in the morning, the Shivratri Jalaparna by the Kanwariyas will start in the Augharnath temple of Meerut. Live telecast has been arranged with CCTV cameras in the temple. 100 cameras have been installed in the entire temple premises. There will be separate lines for male and female Kanwariyas. Male and female Kanwariyas will be allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum from separate gates. The lines of local Shiv devotees will be separate. Along with male and female policemen, LIU and other security agencies will also be deployed here.

There will also be male and female policemen in plain clothes. Two control rooms have also been set up in the temple. In view of the blisters of the Kanwariyas, a red carpet has been laid in the temple. Shiva devotees will walk on it to reach the sanctum sanctorum. Medical camps, control rooms, lost and found camps, food camps, rest camps have also been set up outside the temple. Separate arrangements for Gangajal have also been made. Gangajal has also been arranged by the police.
