Exams will be held from 3 to 5 August, Admit Card Uploaded: 7041 candidates for 5 posts in Art Literature, Culture and Archeology Department – Ajmer News
Rajasthan Public Service Commission will conduct examinations for 5 different posts of Art Literature, Culture and Archaeology Department from 3rd to 5th August 2024 at Ajmer District Headquarters. A total of 7041 candidates have been registered for these examinations. OMR answer keys will be used in the examinations.

The admit cards for the examinations have been uploaded on the Commission’s website and SSO portal. Candidates should download the admit cards as soon as possible. Admit cards can be downloaded by entering the application number and date of birth through the admit card link available on the Commission’s website. Apart from this, admit cards can also be downloaded from the recruitment portal link available in the Citizen Apps by logging on to the SSO portal.
Exam Schedule
- On 3rd August 2024, the examination for 3 posts of Archivist will be conducted at 7 examination centers from 10 am to 12.30 pm and the examination for 2 posts of Assistant Archivist will be conducted at 8 examination centers from 3 pm to 5.30 pm.
- On 4th August 2024, the examination for 1 post of Research Fellow will be held at 4 examination centers from 10 am to 12.30 pm and for 1 post of Research Officer, the examination will be held at 6 examination centers from 3 pm to 5.30 pm.
- The exam for 1 post of Chemist will be conducted on 5th August 2024 from 10 am to 12.30 pm at 5 exam centers.
Entry will be available one hour in advance
Any candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre only 60 minutes before the start of each examination. After this, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre. Therefore, candidates must reach the examination centres well in advance of the scheduled time for the start of each examination on the day of the examination so that the security check and identification work can be completed on time. If you arrive late, you may be denied entry in the examination due to the time taken in the search.
photo identification required
Candidates will have to appear at the examination center with their original Aadhar Card (colour print) for identification. If the photo on the original Aadhar Card is old or unclear, then they should appear at the examination center with other original photo identity cards such as Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License which has a coloured and latest clear photo. Along with this, candidates should ensure to paste the latest coloured photo on the admit card as well. Candidates must read the necessary instructions issued along with the admit card.
Don’t get misled by anybody
Candidates appearing in the examination conducted by the Commission should not fall prey to the influence of any broker, mediator, miscreant or criminal. If anyone demands bribe or gives any other temptation or deception in the name of passing the examination, then inform the investigating agency and commission control room number 0145-2635200, 2635212 and 2635255 in this regard with proof. In case of adopting unfair means in the examination and being involved in unfair acts, under the Rajasthan Public Examination (Measures to Prevent Unfair Means) Act, 2022, the person can be punished with life imprisonment, fine up to Rs 10 crore and movable and immovable property can be confiscated.
Assistant Professor (Sanskrit Education Department) , Apply today for withdrawal and correction of application forms
Rajasthan Public Service Commission has proposed to conduct the Assistant Acharya (Sanskrit Education Department) Competitive Examination-2024 from 8 September to 15 September 2024. The candidates applying on behalf of the commission have been given the opportunity to make other amendments online in addition to the name of the candidate, father’s name, photo, date of birth and gender from 1 August to 10 August 2024. Along with this, candidates who do not have the qualification will also be able to withdraw their application form. Let us tell you that the advertisement for 200 posts of Assistant Acharya for 15 subjects was issued on 12 January 2024.
Commission Secretary Ramniwas Mehta said- The opportunity to make online corrections is only a convenience for the candidates. The terms of the advertisement will remain the same as before. Offline corrections will not be accepted.
Fee and procedure for online correction
Candidates seeking amendments will have to deposit a fee of Rs 500 through e-mitra/online banking. Apply online link available on the commission’s online portal https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or login to SSO portal. Online amendments can be made in the concerned exam by selecting the recruitment portal available in Citizen Apps.

Action on applying without eligibility
Similarly, candidates who apply online despite not possessing the required educational qualification or experience can be subjected to action under Section 217 of the Indian Penal Code and can be debarred from the Commission’s further recruitment process.
Therefore, such candidates can also withdraw their online application during the said period. For this, online application can be made by logging on to the SSO portal, selecting the recruitment portal and clicking on the withdraw button available in front of the concerned examination under the My Recruitment section.

- You can apply online on the commission’s website.
- One Time Registration (OTR) has to be done by selecting the Recruitment Portal available in the Citizen App (G2C).
- To do OTR, it is mandatory to upload the details and documents of candidate’s name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, secondary/equivalent examination and any one ID proof like Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Voter Card/Driving License.
- After logging in, you will be able to apply online by clicking on Recruitment available in Citizen App (G2C) on the basis of your OTR number.
- Once OTR registration is done, no changes can be made in the profile.
