As part of the facade upliftment work at Kaiserbagh crossing, electricity and telecom wires will be laid underground within a radius of 50 meters of the crossing. For this, a joint team of LDA, LESA, Municipal Corporation and Public Works Department will survey the site and prepare an estimate.

Lucknow Development Authority Chairman, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob has given instructions in this regard in the review meeting of development and beautification works held in the Parijata Auditorium of the Authority building on Thursday. On this occasion, Authority Vice President Prathamesh Kumar, Additional Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Srivastava, LDA Secretary Vivek Srivastava, Additional Secretary Gyanendra Verma, Finance Controller Deepak Singh, Chief City Planner KK Gautam along with other officers and engineers were present.

Amiruddaula Library located in Kaiserbagh will be developed as a cultural space, reading point and cafeteria facilities will be available in the gazebo built in the Senior Citizen Park. Strict action will be taken against those concerned in case of unnecessary delay in cases of NOC, transfer, free-hold and registry.

The Divisional Commissioner directed that Amiruddaula Library and the surrounding heritage area should be developed as a cultural space. For this, various types of events should be organized by conducting promotional activities there. Also, a cafeteria should be developed in the open space outside the library and book reading points should be developed in the Senior Citizen Park located next to it.

At the same time, regarding Happiness Park, it was directed that gaming activities for children and craft work activities for women should be organized there. Apart from this, while reviewing the work being done in the Heritage Zone, Vice President Prathamesh Kumar informed that all the civil work of the Museum Block and Food Court has been completed and soon facilities will be started there.

Apart from this, the tender for Lazeez Gali has also been done and shops will start coming up there from next month. The Divisional Commissioner directed that a facility management agency should be selected for the maintenance and cleanliness of the works done in the Hussainabad Heritage Zone, so that the system can be run properly at the site.

He said that a traffic plan should be prepared by selecting an alternative route to reduce the movement of vehicles near Rumi Gate. Also, tempo and bus stands should be shifted by marking a place at a prescribed distance. Regarding the works of promotion and beautification of lakes, the Divisional Commissioner directed that illegal encroachments should be removed by getting the demarcation of Jamuna Lake, Motijheel and Havetmau Mawaiya Lake done by a joint team.

After this, the Divisional Commissioner reviewed the property works and directed that the work of NOC, transfer, free-hold and registry etc. should be completed in a time bound manner. If there is unnecessary delay in this, strict action will be taken against the concerned.
