The person who robbed the mangalsutra from the neck of an elderly woman who had gone to the hospital to get medicine in Bakshi Ka Talab police station area has been arrested. The police have also recovered the mangalsutra from the accused who was caught on Wednesday.

Last Friday, when an elderly woman went to the Ramsagar Mishra Short Bed Combined Hospital in the Bakshi Ka Talab police station area for treatment, was returning home, a young man driving a car snatched the gold pendant from the mangalsutra worn by the elderly woman, Sanjafia, wife of Jamuna, a resident of Shahpur. The BKT police has arrested him.
The arrested accused has been identified by an elderly woman in BKT police station. While identifying the young man, the woman said that this boy had taken away the mangalsutra from our neck that day and ran away. The police has got the arrested accused medically examined.
