Swapnil Kusale was the latest entry as India’s medal winners at the Paris Olympic Games 2024, check out the full list of India’s medal winners.
The Indian athletes continue to shine at the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris, France. So far the Indian contingent has brought in three bronze medals, all of which have come from the shooters.

With many more events yet to come, India has made a decent start to their Olympic journey thanks to the shooters who have already brought in their best tally as a collective and the other athletes, hope to claim more medals.
Here are all the medals that the Indian athletes won:
Manu Bhaker – Bronze – Women’s 10m Air Pistol
Manu Bhaker became the first Indian woman shooter to claim an Olympic medal by taking a bronze in the 10m air pistol event which opened the country’s account in the Paris Games and ended a 12-year wait for its much-hyped shooters.
Bhaker was in the second position till the second last shot but the Indian fell behind after Kim Yeji from South Korea shot 10.5 in response to her 10.3. The markswoman finished with a total score of 221.7 points.
Sarabjot Singh, Manu Bhaker – Bronze – Mixed 10m Air Pistol
Indian shooters Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh secured a bronze medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event. The duo showcased resilience and composure, overcoming a slow start to defeat South Korea 16-10 in a thrilling contest.
The contest began with the Indian pair on the back foot against South Korea, losing the first series. However, Bhaker and Singh quickly regained their footing, displaying exceptional skill and teamwork. They took control by the third series, leading 4-2, and extended their advantage to 8-2 after five series.
This medal is also a historic personal achievement for Bhaker, who became the first Indian to win multiple medals at a single Olympic Games.
Swapnil Kusale – Bronze – Men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions
Swapnil Kusale won the bronze medal in the Men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions event to become the first Indian shooter to bag a medal in this event at the quadrennial extravaganza.
He scored a total of 451.4 points in the eight-man final for a third-place podium finish. Liu Yukun of China clinched the gold with a total of 463.6. Ukraine’s Serhiy Kulish scored 461.3 and claimed the silver medal.
