The victim told that she is a resident of Kotwali area of ​​Kushinagar district and is preparing for competitive examinations by staying in a hostel in Gorakhpur. In the year 2022, she went to the medical college to show a relative, where the accused helped her due to the crowd at the slip counter. During this time, the two got acquainted and the matter of marriage was fixed.

After this, the accused started calling the victim to the under-construction room of the medical college and had physical relations with her promising marriage. During this period, the victim became pregnant twice and the accused got her aborted with the help of his uncle. On June 2, 2024, the accused took the victim to a house under construction, assaulted her and had physical relations with her and then drove her away.

The victim lodged a complaint in the SSP office. On the instructions of the SP, Gulriha police has started investigation by registering a case of rape, assault, threat and abortion against Sanjeev Kumar Dubey, resident of Rampur, Gopalganj, Bihar and his uncle Vinay Kumar Dubey.
