A woman resident of Naka area gave an application to the police. She told that in 2015 she was married to a young man from Ganesh Ganj who works in a Chinese company. As soon as she reached her in-laws’ house, her husband and other in-laws started demanding a car in dowry. When the demand was not met, her husband did not have sex with her for 15 days.

When the matter was told to her parents, they gave her 15 lakh rupees. So the husband went to China alone. After a lot of persuasion, the husband called her to China after a month. There the husband started drinking alcohol every day and beating her. Meanwhile, it was found out that the husband was incapable of having sexual intercourse, for which he was already undergoing treatment. The husband did not give money for her needs. Due to this the woman also started working. The husband would snatch her salary and spend it.

The victim says that her in-laws started taunting her when she had a daughter. While coming to Lucknow during the Corona period, her husband snatched her visa, flight ticket and two lakh rupees. When she reached her in-laws’ house, her mother-in-law, sister-in-law and brother-in-law started harassing her. When the victim was going to China on 11 September 2022, her husband forcibly snatched about two and a half lakh rupees. When she protested, he beat her up badly.

Inspector Virendra Tripathi said that a report has been filed against the husband and others under various sections including harassment. Further action will be taken on the basis of facts found in the investigation.

Pornographic video sent to the woman’s family

According to the victim, her husband also went to China after her. He used to force her to have unnatural sex with him by showing her pornographic movies everyday. He used to make videos of these acts and show them to his friends. The limit was crossed when the accused forced his wife to have sex with an African youth. When she did not agree, he tried to kill her by strangulating her. Not only this, he sent the pornographic videos to the victim’s family.

The woman says that when she complained to the Chinese police about the attempt to murder, the police warned her and let her go. A few days later, her husband stole her jewelry worth 10 lakhs and fled. On the complaint, the police searched for her husband and got the jewelry back. When the victim came to Lucknow with her daughter and complained about her husband in the police station, he begged for forgiveness and settled the matter in front of the police.

The woman says that she went back to China with her husband on 4 March 2024. Where he started abusing her daily and tried to kill her. Seeing the threat to her life, the victim complained about her husband’s atrocities to the Indian Embassy in China. Where the officers told her to register a case in the local police station after reaching India.

As per the officers’ instructions, she returned to her home in Lucknow. Along with this, she started preparing to lodge a case against her husband and in-laws.

The woman alleges that her husband started talking nonsense to her daughter as well. After beating her on 6 May 2024, he fled from Lucknow to China. Now he says that he is in China and the Indian police cannot do anything to him. Now he is threatening to kill her and her family.
