Child found stuck to a hand pump
Kanti Kumar, a resident of Andla village in Khair, had a 4-year-old son named Dhruv who was a student of pre-primary class in the Anganwadi centre located in the village. This Anganwadi centre is located inside the primary school of the village. On Friday, the children were given food under MDM and nutrition.
After having food, Dhruv went to the school hand pump to drink water, but suddenly there was a current in it and he got stuck to it and died. There is a submersible boring in the hand pump
The hand pump installed in the campus has a submersible bore. Due to which water starts coming out of the hand pump by running the machine. This is the reason why there is talk of electric current in the hand pump. On getting information about the incident, a large number of villagers also reached the spot and started demanding action.
