On 14 February 2023, a resident of the area lodged a complaint at Kachhwa police station alleging rape of his 7-year-old minor daughter. On the basis of which a case was registered at Kachhwa police station. By registering a case under the POCSO Act, immediate action was taken and the named accused was arrested and sent to jail.

Superintendent of Police Abhinandan gave priority to the incident of rape of a minor and got quality and strong advocacy done from the police station and advocacy cell. Prosecution officer SPP Sunita Gupta, investigating inspector Ramswaroop Verma, advocate head constable Shyam Ji Yadav and court clerk constable Bittu Singh and lady constable Shivani Singh did effective advocacy.
As a result, Special Judge POCSO Act Surendra Kumar Rai sentenced the accused convicted in the case to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 30,000. In case of non-payment of the fine, he will have to undergo an additional 6 months of imprisonment.
