Congress leaders reached the PVVNL office under the leadership of District President Avnish Kajla and City President Zahid Ansari. They said that the common people, farmers, workers, students are troubled due to unannounced power cuts. Industries are being adversely affected. Due to lack of rain in the state, water is not reaching the tail end of the canals.

District President Avnish Kajla said that accidents are increasing due to dilapidated wires. People are also troubled due to lack of transformers. There is an unannounced power cut of 12 to 15 hours in the cities. The problem of low voltage and tripping is a constant problem. People are in a bad condition in the heat. Due to power cuts, farmers are not able to irrigate their crops with tube wells. Due to which their crops are getting adversely affected.
