The university has announced relief to the students after holding a meeting of the examination committee. To appear in the examination, students will have to apply online on the university website by August 8 and also deposit the examination fee. Only after applying online, students will be able to appear in the examination again.

On July 12, the students staged a violent protest

Students who failed by one or two marks in the BA, BSc and BCom examinations of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University staged a fierce protest in the Vice Chancellor’s office on July 12. Under the banner of ABVP, the students gheraoed the Vice Chancellor for about 4 hours and also raised slogans.

During this, the agitated students even pulled out the Vice Chancellor’s chair and threw ink on him. A large number of police force was deployed on the spot and many protesting girl students also fainted. After which the Vice Chancellor assured the students that they will be given a chance and a decision will be taken in the meeting of the Examination Committee.

Registrar Ajay Krishna Acharya said that this decision has been taken in the examination committee meeting held on July 29. In this, students of fifth and sixth semester of BA, BSc can apply if they fail in both the question papers of any one of the two subjects.

B.Com students can apply if they fail in any one of the two compulsory papers and any one of the three optional papers. The examination form has been made available on the college login. Only online forms submitted through the link available on the college login ID by generating the examination fee MIS will be considered.
