National President of All India Muslim Jamaat Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi said that the Central Government is going to introduce a bill in the Parliament regarding the Waqf Board. Can the Central Government bring a bill soon to stop the arbitrary use of the property of the Waqf Board? In this case

,

They are destroying the waqf land

Maulana Razvi said that the presidents, officers and members of all the Waqf Boards of India are destroying the Waqf property in connivance with the land mafia. Not only this, he said that if the Waqf Board had done its work in the true sense, then development could have been clearly seen among the Muslims of the entire country. No Muslim in the entire country would be seen begging and neither would there be any lack of development among the Muslim population.

He expressed surprise and asked why the Central Government was silent till now to stop this arbitrariness of the Waqf Board. He said that if the bill comes soon, he will welcome it.

properties were ruined

Maulana further said that our elders had made their properties Waqf so that the income from this could be used to provide good education to poor and weak Muslim boys and girls. Orphans and widows could be helped. But instead of doing all this, the responsible people of Waqf boards started selling the properties and earning money by colluding with land mafias, due to which corruption reached its peak and the properties were ruined.

It may be good for Muslims

Maulana said that the state and central governments did not do anything to control the officials of the board. The officials of the board were given a free hand, if the governments had taken better steps for the maintenance of Waqf properties, some Muslims could have benefited.
