Murder over transaction of 10 lakh rupees
According to the information, a property dealer from Firozabad was murdered in Ikdil police station area and his body was thrown into the canal. The body was found floating in the canal in Etawah two days later. Ikdil police of Etawah recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. According to the family members, it has been told that the property dealer was shot dead over a transaction of about 10 lakh rupees.

There was a stir when a dead body was found floating in the Chitbhavan canal in Ikdil police station area at around 9 am. The police reached the spot and took the body out of the canal. The body was identified by nephew Ankit Yadav, son of Shivpal Yadav, resident of Jhingupura police station Saifai. After receiving the information of the body being found, a large number of family members from Shikohabad and nearby Etawah reached there. The murder victim has been identified as Jitendra Singh Yadav alias Pappu, son of Rajpal Singh, resident of Katena Arsa police station Shikohabad.
The body was shot and thrown into the canal
The nephew of the deceased told that on Saturday at around 2 pm, he had gone to see a property in Mainpuri with Rajendra Singh, resident of Ramgan police station Firozabad. He was carrying cash worth Rs 3 lakh and three gold rings. When he did not return home in the evening, a report was filed in Shikohabad police station on Sunday morning. The police filed a report against the accused and investigated.
The police took action and caught the accused. The accused told that he shot Jitendra and threw his body in the canal. We were looking at the body in the canal. On Monday, Etawah’s Ikdil police reported a body found in the canal. After identifying it, it was confirmed that the body was that of Jitendra Singh.
CO Amit Kumar Singh said that the body recovered from Chitbhavan canal was murdered in Shikohabad and the body was thrown in the canal. It had come here floating. The case is registered in Shikohabad police station. The accused has been arrested by Shikohabad police.
