The incident took place in a hotel in Shahganj police station area. The girl is a class nine student. She had gone to a Devi Jagran six months ago. The family told the police that the girl met Sandeep, a resident of Naurangpur, Kagarol. Sandeep took her mobile number. After this, he started calling her.
When she refused to meet him, he started threatening her. When she did not tell her family, the accused’s actions increased. On the afternoon of 17th July, Sandeep came with his friend Sajan, a resident of Prem Nagar. Both of them forcibly took the girl on the bike. Sandeep raped her in a hotel in Pathauli. He also made a video of it.
The accused’s accomplices Sajan and Bobby took the earrings and 15 thousand rupees. Police registered a case on the victim’s complaint. Accused Sandeep and Sajan were arrested on Sunday night. ACP Loha Mandi Mayank Tiwari said that the incident is said to have taken place in Hotel Raj Rajeshwari. Records are being checked. CCTV camera footage will be checked. The court has sent the accused to jail. Raids are being conducted in search of absconding accused Bobby.
