In Sambhal, a woman going to get medicine in an e-rickshaw was crushed by a roadways bus. After the incident, the driver fled with the roadways bus. When the family got the news of the woman’s death in a road accident, there was an uproar. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody.

The woman’s name is Ram Murti (60 years old) wife of Radhelal, resident of village Amavati. On Monday afternoon, she came to village Raipur in an e-rickshaw to get medicine. While the woman was getting down from the e-rickshaw, a speeding roadways bus ran over her. After the incident, the driver fled from the spot with the roadways bus and the woman died on the spot.
FIR will be filed on the complaint of the family members
After receiving the news of the woman’s death in a road accident, the family reached the spot. Police station in-charge Rajiv Kumar Malik said that a woman died in a road accident. The police has taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. Legal action will be taken on the basis of the complaint of the family.
