Municipal Commissioner Sudhir Kumar held a review meeting on house tax collection. The Municipal Commissioner directed to collect at least Rs 2 crore per day. The Additional Municipal Commissioner has been instructed to review it daily. During the meeting, the Municipal Commissioner found that till now a collection of Rs 98 crore has been made.

Fee will also be collected from government buildings
In the meeting, the Municipal Commissioner said that recovery should be done by setting an annual target of Rs. 500 crore. Confiscation proceedings should be done against big defaulters as per rules. Letters should be sent for defaulters on government buildings.
The lowest recovery was done in zone-4
The Municipal Commissioner expressed anger over Zone-4 having the lowest recovery and directed to take action against the Revenue Inspector who had the lowest recovery. Additional Municipal Commissioner Aavesh Khan, Jagdish Yadav, Amit Kumar Bhartiya etc. were present in the meeting.
