In Siddharthnagar, the Shia community devotees celebrated the twentieth death anniversary of Imam Hussain and the martyrs of Karbala 72 with reverence and emotion. From Monday evening to Tuesday morning, mourning and noha were recited in the entire town.

Marsiya and Majlis were organized at Imam Bargah Hussainia Fahm in Hallaur, a Shia dominated town of Dumariyaganj tehsil area. Shahid Alam and Jamal Haider Karbalai narrated the story of martyrdom of the martyrs of Karbala. After Marsiya Majlis, a mourning procession was taken out by Anjuman Guncha Matam with Alam and coffin, which mourned at various places in the town and ended at Hussainia Fahm at 8:30 in the morning.

Similarly, Marsiya Majlis was also organized in Imambara Seth Baba Marhoom. Here Haider Qarrar and Zakire Ahlebait Azim Haider narrated the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain, listening to which the devotees became emotional. After this, the mourning procession with Alam and Taboot was taken out by Anjuman Urooj Matam, which started from Imambara at 8:00 am and ended with mourning.

Stalls of tea, sabeel, water and juice were set up at various places in the city. Devotees mourned the martyrdom of Imam Hussain and paid tribute to the martyrs. During this, Ali Tahir Raja, Asif Neta, Ayan, Faizan and others were present.
