Teenage girl jumped into Tamsa river in Azamgarh, search operation continued till late night.
A young girl jumped into the Tamsa river on Monday night at the Narauli bridge of the Tamsa river under Sidhari police station area of Azamgarh district. By the time the people around could understand anything, the girl had disappeared from sight. Due to continuous rain, the water level of the river has increased considerably.

On receiving information about the case, the police of Sidhari police station and SP City reached the spot and started searching for the girl. Till late night, there was no information about the missing girl, where she lived and under what circumstances she was forced to take such a suicidal step.
Police trying to identify
The search for the girl continued in the river till late night but she could not be found. Regarding this, the police says that the girl is being searched. Efforts will be made to identify her if she is found. The CCTV footage of the surrounding area is being scanned so that some information can be obtained about the girl. This is not the first case of suicide by jumping from the Narauli bridge. Even before this, a large number of young men and women have committed suicide by jumping.
