Police has arrested three accused who attacked a group of Kanwariyas from Kasganj in Badaun. Police had filed a report against them on Sunday evening itself. Whereas their challan was done on Monday.

Actually, a group of Kanwariyas from Kasganj district was returning from Haridwar with Dak Kanwar, but on the way, near Titauli village of Ughaiti police station area, some youths misbehaved with the Kanwariyas in the group. It is alleged that three of them also tried to break the Kanwar.
The Kanwariyas, enraged by the incident, created a ruckus on the Bijnor highway. On getting information about the matter, SDM Bilsi along with the police from Bilsi and Ughaiti police stations reached the spot and barely managed to convince the Kanwariyas.

On the complaint of the Kanwariya, the police registered a case against unknown persons. Whereas on Monday, youths named Sanjeev, Akash and Ankit of Titauli village were arrested. The police have challaned all three and presented them in the court.
