There is a stir in Mau regarding the fraud in the education department. Here, fake appointments have been made in the secondary schools with the connivance of the manager and the district school inspector. In the last one year, more than 50 fake appointments have been made by the then DIOS on back day.

The newly arrived District School Inspector Ramesh Singh said that these fake appointments have been made in more than 50 numbers in various schools of the district. So far 22 people have been identified and their salary payment has been stopped with immediate effect. He said that these appointments have been made on the posts of assistant teacher, clerk and peon.

2 crore rupees paid

Apart from this, arrears of about 2 crore rupees have also been paid by keeping all the rules aside. District School Inspector Ramesh Singh further said that the involvement of former DIOS Devendra Gupta is coming to the fore in this. The payment of 2 crore arrears has been made against the rules of the government. He said that an investigation has been started after receiving a complaint in a case related to this.

During this investigation some truth is coming out, action is being taken on that basis. He also told that investigation is being done on all points, there is a possibility of more than 50 fake appointments. FIR will also be registered against all these fake people and all the salary will also be recovered.
