RTO Ayodhya Division Ritu Singh and ARTO administration of the districts connected to the division presiding over the revenue and divisional review meeting.

As per the intention of the government, a meeting was held in Ayodhya division for the fulfillment of revenue targets and fitness of vehicles, registration as per standards, Darpan portal services, quick redressal of complaints on IGRS portals etc. and audit etc. The meeting was chaired by RTO Administration Ritu Singh.

RTO Ritu Singh directed all officers and employees to take action on war footing in the month of September to ensure 100% receipt of revenue and for recovery of dues, paste the list of biggest defaulters on the notice board of the office and make effective recovery of outstanding taxes by increasing the pace of telephone and door to door calling of all defaulters in the division. First of all, the RTO administration instructed the officers that zero tolerance policy will be adopted against brokers or any kind of irregularity, so following the instructions of the Honorable Chief Minister to the letter, take continuous action against encroachments and unauthorized persons around the office by coordinating with the district administration and police.

RTO Ritu Singh also directed all the Assistant Divisional Transport Officers of Ayodhya Mandal to keep the office transparent and free from interference of unauthorized persons and to perform work only from the counter. RTO expressed anger over not achieving 100% revenue target and directed to ensure at least 20% monthly and sequential growth in comparison to the last financial year. He directed that the owners of passenger vehicles and goods vehicles and school vehicles should contact on telephone to deposit tax and get fitness, permit etc. updated and get the task force of the district administration constituted as well. Instructions were given to send notices to vehicles without fitness, vehicles whose registration has expired, vehicles that have completed the age limit, get the forms updated and get them validated and to conduct on-site inspection of dedicated vehicles. RTO Ritu Singh said that tax will be recovered from the vehicle owners who do not deposit tax within the stipulated time period like land revenue. Therefore, get the tax deposited. All vehicle owners can pay their taxes online by visiting parivahan.gov.in from their homes. There is no need to come to the office for this.

He directed the Assistant Divisional Transport Officers of all the districts of the division to send the RC and match it on the Revenue Department’s website and monitor the status daily, take action by monitoring with the district and tehsil level officers, Amins. Scrapping (RVSF) action can be taken against vehicles operated unauthorizedly and without valid documents. Therefore, the vehicle owner should get his documents valid immediately. Also, the coverage of drivers of commercial vehicles with insurance was also reviewed and it was asked to publicize it. Instructions were given to make the pendency zero on all the services of Darpan Portal and to make qualitative disposal. Action should be taken by all departments to make government vehicles unusable after 15 years. Instructions were also given for effective enforcement action and awareness meetings etc. on commercial use of private vehicles, HSRP etc.
