The incident took place in Sultanpur village of Inayat Nagar police station area of Ayodhya. Here 17-year-old Neha Tiwari died after coming in contact with the current. The family immediately took her to CHC Harringtonganj for treatment, but the doctors declared her dead.

According to the information, Ajay Tiwari’s 17-year-old daughter Neha was doing some work at home, when suddenly she got hit by electric current. The family members somehow pulled her out of the current and immediately took her to the Community Health Center Harringtonganj for treatment. But, the doctors declared her dead.
On receiving information about the incident, Harringtonganj Police Station reached the spot and took the body in its custody and made a Panchnama. The body has been sent for postmortem. The police officer said that the family members have not told anything about this and the reason for the incident will be known after the postmortem report.
Inspector in-charge Abhimanyu Shukla said that at present the body has been sent for postmortem and the actual cause of the incident will be known based on the report. There is deep grief and despair in the family after the incident, but the family is not yet ready to give any detailed information about the incident.
