A new twist has emerged in the case of the death of three children and illness of six people due to infectious diseases in Madhaijot village of Gonda. There was a birthday celebration at the house of the victim Prince Tiwari late on Saturday evening. During the birthday celebration, people from outside got infected.

Immediately the family took them to the local community health center. When they did not get relief from there, the family took the three children to a private hospital. During treatment there, all the three children, 8-year-old Pallavi, 2-year-old Shiva and a 25-day-old innocent girl died within 3 days.
6 people are still undergoing treatment at CHC 6 people, 40 year old Anita Devi, 45 year old Punita Devi, 22 year old Aman Tiwari, 21 year old Deepshikha and 16 year old Adarsh, 4 year old Muskan are ill. They are still undergoing treatment at the Community Health Center Itiyathok. Initial investigation has revealed that three children have died and 6 people are ill due to diarrhea. Even now the health department officials and employees are spraying anti-larvae in the village and examining the people and distributing medicines to them.

Medicines are being distributed to the members of each family in the village after examining them continuously. So that diarrhea does not spread among the people of these families and there is no problem of any kind. A large scale cleanliness campaign is also being run by employing about 100 sanitation workers in the village.
Gonda DM said that information was received about some children being affected by diarrhea in Madhai Jot village. Yesterday three children have died. Within three days, all the patients suffering from diarrhea are being treated. Medical teams are camping in the village. A massive cleanliness campaign is also being run in the village, we are constantly monitoring it.
The CMO and medical teams have also talked to the victim’s family and gathered information. The Block Pramukh and the Block Development Officer also visited the village. Those who are ill are being provided good medical facilities at the local community health center so that they do not face any kind of problem.
