On Wednesday, the court gave its verdict in the case of shooting and looting a teacher in a village of Kannauj. The court has sentenced two murder accused to life imprisonment. While 3 other accused including a woman were acquitted due to lack of evidence.

The incident is from Sheikhpur village of Vishungarh police station area. Rambharose, a resident of this place, was a teacher in an inter college in the village. He had a house in Chhibramau. He also had a fertilizer shop. On 21 September 2015, after coming from college, he reached the fertilizer shop. From there he left for the village in the evening. As soon as he reached near the high culvert in front of Bhojpur village, some people shot him.

The family kept waiting for him till late evening

They looted his revolver and cash and fled. His family members waited for him till late evening. When he did not return home and could not be contacted on his mobile, his family members got worried. When his family members who had gone out to search for him got information about the murder, they reached the spot.

Regarding the murder and robbery case, deceased Ram Bharose’s son Braj Kishore had filed a report against unknown people by giving a written complaint to the police. During the investigation, the names of Anuj alias Pratap Singh, Dharam Singh alias Dharam, Vimala and Jagbhan Singh, resident of Sheikhpur village, came to light in this murder case. The police included them in the FIR and then investigated the case and collected evidence.

two accused were acquitted

Government advocate Brajesh Shukla said that while hearing the murder and robbery case of teacher Ram Bharose, Special Judge Dacoit Affected Area Indrajit Singh, on the basis of evidence and witness statements, convicted Anuj alias Pratap Singh and Jagbhan Singh and sentenced them to life imprisonment. A fine of Rs. 65,000 was also imposed on them. In this murder case, two other accused Dharam Singh alias Dharam and Vimla were acquitted due to lack of evidence.
