SP Abhinandan honoured the winning team of the 27th inter-district shooting sports and alarm efficiency race competition in Mirzapur by presenting them the trophy. The competition was organised in the 39th Battalion PAC. In which the soldiers participated with enthusiasm.

According to the rules of the Efficiency Race Rifle Competition, 10 hurdles had to be crossed. The teams of Mirzapur and Sonbhadra successfully crossed 10 hurdles. Mirzapur secured first position by getting 79.75 points and Sonbhadra secured second position by getting 56 points. Similarly, shooting competition of rifle, revolver, pistol, carbine etc. was conducted at the firing butt situated at Badgawan Chunar.

The team that got first place in the Alarm Efficiency Race included Head Constable Manoj Yadav, Constable Aavesh Yadav, Constable Ashish Yadav, Constable Arvind Sonkar, Constable Satish Yadav and Constable Brijesh Kumar. In the 100 yard rifle competition, Sub Inspector Tribhuvan Singh of Mirzapur was first and Sub Inspector Varanasi Shriprakash was second.

In the 200 yards competition, Head Constable Armorer Om Prakash Yadav of Mirzapur stood first and Head Constable Varanasi Mahshar Warish Jama stood second. In the 300 yards, Constable Kuldeep Singh of Mirzapur stood first, Head Constable Ravindra Gupta of Jaunpur stood second. In the 300 yards snap, Constable Vijay Kumar Pal of Mirzapur stood first and Constable Vivek Kushwaha stood second.

In 300 meter prone position-men, sub-inspector Tribhuvan Singh of Mirzapur came first and constable Rajan Bharti of Varanasi came second. In 300 meter prone position women, constable Anshu Pandey of Varanasi came first and constable Harshita Singh of Mirzapur came second.

In the 300 meter three position wigvor, head constable Mahshar Warish Jama of Varanasi stood first and sub-inspector Vivek Kumar Singh stood second. In the carbine competition, in the 25 yards distance, head constable Bhadohi Sunil Yadav stood first and Kundan Singh stood second. In the 40 yards distance, sub-inspector Mirzapur Tribhuwan Singh stood first, head constable Sunil Yadav of Bhadohi stood second. In snap shooting from 50 yards, sub-inspector Tribhuwan Singh of Mirzapur stood first and head constable Kundan Singh stood second.
