Bangladesh team announced for Test against India: Zakir Ali gets chance in place of Shariful; Series will start from 19th September

Bangladesh has announced its team for the Test series against India starting on 19 September. A 16-member team has been selected for this two-match series. Nazmul Hasan Shanto will be the captain of the team.

Shariful Islam has not got a place in the team. Zakir Ali has been included in place of Islam. Shariful was part of the team for the two Test match series against Pakistan. Apart from this, the rest of the team is the same which was in the Test series against Pakistan.

Bangladesh Team: Nazmul Hossain Shanto (Captain), Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Zakir Hasan, Shadman Islam, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Litton Kumar Das, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Taijul Islam, Nayeem Hasan, Nahid Rana, Hasan Mahmud, Taskin Ahmed, Syed Khaled Ahmed and Zaker Ali Anik.

Will play 2 Tests and 3 T20s against Bangladesh Bangladesh’s tour of India will start from September 19. The first Test will be played in Chennai and the second Test in Kanpur from September 27. 3 T20s will be played on October 6, 9 and 12. The matches will be held in Gwalior, Delhi and Hyderabad.

Team India for the first Test against Bangladesh: Rohit Sharma (captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Dhruv Jurel (wicketkeeper), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep, Jasprit Bumrah and Yash Dayal.
