The phase of immersion of Ganesh idols has started in Unnao.
Ganesh Mahotsav, which started on 7 September, is now moving towards its final phase. On the last day of this festival, the program of immersion of Ganesh idols is going on with great pomp in the city. On Thursday, Ganesh idols were immersed in various parts of the city, in which devotees took part.

Baba’s Aarti was performed on the occasion of Raja Shri Ganesh Festival at Ganga Ghat. Where the devotees together celebrated the immersion ceremony in a grand manner with music and dance. On this occasion, amidst the echo of devotional songs, young and old all together chanted the praises of Ganpati Bappa and expressed their devotion towards him.
Ganesh festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Champapurva as well. Here the Mahaarati of Gajanan Sarkar was organized with great reverence. The local residents of Champapurva performed the aarti with full enthusiasm and religious sentiments and on the occasion of immersion of Bappa, everyone was seen immersed in devotion.

The whole atmosphere became devotional The largest crowd of Ganesh festival was seen at Fattekheda lake. From morning till late evening, people from the city, Unnao and Kanpur kept coming to the lake. They were immersing the idols while chanting Ganpati Bappa Morya. On the banks of the lake, devotees were bidding farewell to Ganesh ji by dancing to devotional songs, due to which the entire atmosphere became devotional.
