A history-sheeter was shot while sitting in a car outside his house in Lucknow’s Gomtinagar area late on Wednesday night. The bullet hit his right leg. His friend was also present at the time of the incident. The history-sheeter’s father is a retired sub-inspector. The police admitted him to the civil hospital.

He was sitting in the car outside the house, five people attacked him According to the police, retired inspector Ram Sahodar lives with his family in Vipulkhand. On Wednesday night, his son Dhananjay was sitting in the car outside the house with his friend Rahul. Meanwhile, five unknown youths suddenly attacked him. The accused first beat Dhananjay fiercely and later shot him. The bullet hit Dhananjay’s right leg. When Dhananjay’s friend Rahul Singh shouted, they ran to beat him too, but ran away when people gathered. On enquiry, it was found that Dhananjay Singh is a history-sheeter of Gomtinagar police station and also works in property dealing. Dhananjay has been admitted to the civil hospital. Where his condition is said to be out of danger. On Dhananjay’s complaint, the police is searching for Sinku and his companions.
