Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate a two-day international conference on the topic ‘Contribution of Nath sect in the creation of a harmonious society’ on Saturday in collaboration with Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University and Hindustani Academy UP Prayagraj.

The inaugural session will be held at Diksha Bhawan and will be presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Poonam Tandon. Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, Prof. Shriprakash Mani Tripathi will be the chief guest at the seminar.
6 technical sessions will be organized in the conference Leading Nathpanthi scholars from India and abroad will participate in this conference. In the closing session, former president of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, Padmashri Prof. Vishwanath Prasad Tiwari will be the chief guest and the Vice Chancellor will preside over the session.
During the conference, 6 technical sessions will be organized in which various aspects of Nathpanth will be discussed. These will include global contribution of Nathpanth, social harmony in Nathpanthi literature, contribution of Nathpanth in freedom movement, Nath Siddha tradition, Sadhana process and in-depth discussion on Nathpanthi encyclopedia.
Book and Magazine Release In the inaugural session, the Chief Minister and the Vice Chancellor will release a book and a magazine. This includes ‘Nathpanth Ka Itihas’ written by Dr. Padmaja Singh and ‘Kundalini’, a magazine of Mahayogi Guru Shri Gorakhnath Shodh Peeth.
Inauguration of Divyaangjan Canteen On this occasion, the Chief Minister will inaugurate a Divyangjan canteen in the university. According to the Vice Chancellor, this canteen will be run by Divyangjan only, the aim of which is to provide them employment opportunities.
Preparation Review Higher Education Secretary M.P. Aggarwal and Vice Chancellor Prof. Poonam Tandon visited Diksha Bhawan and reviewed the preparations for the event and also inspected the Divyangjan canteen. Higher Education Secretary gave necessary guidelines.
Many scholars from India and abroad will be present Many prominent scholars from India and abroad will be present in the technical sessions of the two-day international seminar. These will include Saint Shivnath from Odisha, Prof. Santosh Shukla from JNU, Saint Shernath from Gujarat, Dr. Hansraj from Shimla, Prof. Sadanand Gupta, Prof. Kirti Pandey.
From abroad, Shashipadha (Virginia, USA), Rajrahi (New York, USA), Sushma Malhotra (New York, USA), Meena Chopra (Toronto, Canada), Prahlad Debnath (Bangladesh), Dr. Suresh Pushpakar (UK), and M. Tufail Ahmed (Oman) will deliver their lectures.
