The Department of Chemistry, Lucknow University organised a lecture programme on the topic ‘Emerging trends and role of AI in drug discovery’ during the Convocation week celebrations.

The speech competition was organized on the theme “An Oratory for Chemistry Research Scholars”. The event was open to research scholars of the department. A total of 23 students participated in the speech competition and gave a brief presentation on the theme of the event.
At the beginning, the Head of the Department, Prof. Anil Mishra, gave information about the competition to the students. He told that the spirit of participation is important and winning prizes is a part of the process.

The judging team selected the successful students The jury that evaluated the event included Prof. Amita Bajpai from the Department of Education, Prof. Archana Tiwari from the Department of Western History and Prof. Abha Bishnoi from the Department of Chemistry.
Participants were evaluated on the basis of their presentation and content. First Prize: Sudakshina Trivedi
,II Ayush Bhardwaj
,third Muskan Pandey
and Shumila Nafees
was given the consolation prize. The program was conducted by Dr. Amrita Shrivastava, Dr. Pragati Kushwaha and Dr. Shashi Pandey. All the faculty members and researchers of the department were present in this program.
