The mutilated body of an unidentified youth was found on Friday morning among the reeds on the border of Devrai Baramanpur village in Jaunpur.

Information about foul smell in paddy field
In the morning, when some people of Devrai village went towards the paddy field, they felt a foul smell. When they investigated, they found the body of a 25-year-old youth lying in the reeds. The condition of the body also indicates that animals had scratched the body. After this, Pradhan representative Jiledaar Ram informed the police about the incident.
Police said- death happened a week ago
SHO Brijesh Kumar Gupta and his team reached the spot and took the body in their custody and started legal proceedings. SHO said that from the condition of the body it seems that the death must have happened a week ago. At present, the situation of the incident will be clear only after the postmortem report.
