The newly elected office bearers of the Civil Bar Association of Jaunpur were administered the oath of office and secrecy in the union auditorium. The new office bearers expressed their commitment towards the development of the Bar Association and assured better coordination between advocates and judicial officers.

On this occasion, District Judge Vani Ranjan Agarwal congratulated the new office bearers. In the oath taking ceremony, the newly elected President Subhash Chandra Yadav, Vice President Devi Prasad Singh and Rajnath, Minister Ran Bahadur Yadav, Joint Minister Usman Ali, Deputy Minister Manjit Kaur and Shriprakash Yadav, Accounts Inspector Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi and Executive Members Ajay Kumar Yadav, Aarti, Gaurav Kumar Shukla, Shashank Dubey, Shashikant Pal, Vaishali Gupta, and Vivek Kumar Tiwari took oath.
Newly elected president Subhash Chandra Yadav said that “times have changed” and appealed to the police and administration not to interfere in the work of advocates. He also appealed to the advocates not to take the law in their hands under any circumstances and to inform the Bar Association about their problems, which will provide them all possible help.
Subhash Chandra Yadav warned that strict action will be taken against any CO or SHO who misbehaves with the advocates. He also said that the advocates who commit indiscipline will be expelled without any notice by informing the Bar Council. Judicial officers were also advised to hear arguments only in those cases in which a decision has to be taken and the High Court will be informed in case of any pending file.
Minister Ran Bahadur Yadav stressed that only those who respect lawyers will stay in the district. Civil and collectorate officials and judicial officers were also present in this oath taking ceremony.
