Rehearsal of the convocation ceremony was organized on Thursday. During this, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Singh was present.
The 11th convocation of Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University will be held today i.e. on Friday. The convocation will begin at 11 am under the chairmanship of Governor Anandi Ben Patel.

Padma Shri Murlikant Petkar will attend the convocation as the chief guest. During this, 1615 students will be awarded degrees and 159 medals will be given to 130 meritorious students. These include 59 gold, 50 silver and 50 bronze medals.
These meritorious students will get medals
Chancellor Gold Medal will be given to Lakhimpur Kheri resident student Chinmay Shukla. CM Gold Medal will be given to Tejal Kanaujia from Arts and Music Faculty, Shivani Agarwal from Commerce, Premanshi Sahu from Special Education, Akanksha Sharma from Science and Technology. Apart from this, 37 researchers will be awarded PhD degree.
Rehearsal took place on Thursday
A day before the convocation ceremony, i.e. on Thursday, the rehearsal of the convocation was held in the university. In this, Prof. Shefali Yadav was seen in the role of Chancellor. While Dr. Mahesh Chaudhary played the role of chief guest Padma Shri Muralikant Petkar, Dr. Devesh Katiyar became the departmental minister, Principal Secretary Subhash Chandra Sharma. Along with this, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Singh, Registrar Rohit Singh and Controller of Examinations Amit Kumar Rai were present.
