The intermittent rain with strong winds till late night has benefited the crops of the farmers. At the same time, due to the strong winds blowing after the rain, 20 percent of the farmers’ crops have fallen, causing heavy damage. Due to the intermittent rain late at night, waterlogging has persisted in most parts of the city. People are forced to walk on the roads amidst the flowing water.

According to the information of the weather department, heavy rains with strong winds are expected in the next 24 hours. Due to the intermittent rains, the electricity supply in rural areas is also in a bad condition. Due to the falling of trees on the electric poles along with strong winds, the electricity supply has been disrupted in more than a hundred villages. The rain that started late on Wednesday night is continuing intermittently for the third consecutive day.
