Late in the evening, railway passengers informed the railway officials about the fracture on the track at platform number four of Hardoi railway station. The Bareilly Varanasi Express was about to reach Hardoi when the railway passengers noticed the fracture on the track. After this, the Bareilly Varanasi Express was stopped on the outer.

Bareilly Varanasi Express stood still for about half an hour. After which the railway officials sent the train forward towards Lucknow from the fractured track. Bareilly Varanasi Express was saved from becoming a victim of an accident due to the prudence and alertness of the passengers.

Bareilly Varanasi Express reached Hardoi railway station at 7:14 pm, 27 minutes late from its scheduled time of 6:45 pm. After this, the train could be sent further towards Lucknow at 7:45 pm with a delay of 58 minutes. The train is coming from behind due to fracture in the track.

12204 Amritsar Saharsa Garib Rath Express reached Hardoi railway station at 8:02 pm, 3 hours 7 minutes late from its scheduled time of 4:55 pm. After this, the train left for Lucknow at 8:18 pm with a delay of about 16 minutes from the fractured track.
