When the train reached the Cantt Railway Station in Varanasi, everyone’s eyes were fixed on it.
PM Narendra Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat Express train from Kashi to Baba Baidyanath which reached Varanasi at night. Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually flagged off the new Vande Bharat train from Deoghar to Varanasi.

On reaching Kashi with 8 coaches, the passengers and running staff of the train were given a grand welcome. The passengers who completed the journey from Baba Vaidyanath Dham to Shri Kashi Vishwanath in seven hours expressed happiness. Railway officials said that from Monday this train will run regularly in the morning.

The Vande Bharat train that started between Devghar and Varanasi reached Cantt station at 9 pm on Sunday night. As soon as the saffron coloured Vande Bharat train reached the platform, the passengers chanted Har Har Mahadev.
The Minister of State, MLC and Railway officials welcomed the passengers by showering flowers and garlanding them. Loco pilot Manikchand, loco pilot Ashok Kumar Singh, assistant loco pilot Hariom Kumar and Mithilesh Kushwaha who brought the train from Deoghar were welcomed.
MLAs and ministers welcomed the passengers at Varanasi Junction.
The passengers travelling in the train which reached platform number one at Cantt station at 9 pm expressed happiness over the journey. They said that it was a wonderful journey. The calm atmosphere and comfortable seats, cleanliness and behaviour of the crew members were good.
Ticket booking has started for this Vande Bharat train which started between Baba Baidyanath Dham in Jharkhand and Shri Kashi Vishwanath. During the welcome, Minister of Registration Fee Ravindra Jaiswal, Minister of State Dr. Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, MLC Dharmendra Rai, BJP Metropolitan President Vidyasagar Rai, DRM SM Sharma, ADRM Lalji Chaudhary, Station Director Gaurav Dixit, Assistant Security Commissioner BP Singh and others welcomed the passengers by garlanding them.
This train will be regular from today
This train will start running regularly from 16 September. After the start of Vande Bharat, Kashi residents took only seven hours to reach Baba Baidyanath Dham. Railway officials said – Varanasi-Deoghar Vande Bharat Express train will start from Cantt Railway at 6:20 am from 16 September and will reach Pt.D.U at 6:50 am. There will be a stoppage of 20 minutes here.
From here, it will reach Sasaram at 8:15, Gaya at 9:25, Nevada at 10:05, Kiul at 10:53, Jasidih at 1:15 and Deoghar at 1:40. On the return journey, it will leave at 3:15 PM and reach Cantt at 10:30 PM.

The first Vande Bharat train connecting Taj City to Kashi will be inaugurated today i.e. 16th September. At the same time, Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat will run with 20 coaches for the first time. This will be the country’s first Vande Bharat, which will run equipped with 20 coaches.
Both Vande Bharat trains will be virtually flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under the inaugural run, the Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat train will go to Prayagraj and then return from there. From the second day, the regular train will leave for Delhi with 20 coaches. Officials have completed preparations at Banaras station and Cantt railway station and many officials are busy today.
