A quiz program was recently organized for students of classes 9 to 12 at Children’s Academy School located at Mall Avenue in Lucknow. This program was organized by Aadab Arz Lucknow, whose main objective was to showcase the historical and cultural heritage of Lucknow.

In the program, questions were asked based on the historical monuments of Lucknow and the events related to the great rebellion of 1857-58. Princess Asmat Ara Begum of Akbarpur State was present as the chief guest in this program, who encouraged the competition.

These contestants took part A total of three houses participated in the competition. Akbar House captured the first place. The team comprised of Shubh Anand, Palak Tiwari, Umaira Bano, and Mohammad Tariz. The second place was taken by Teresa House, which comprised of Ananya Mathur, Samad Bux, Alina Saeed Ansari, and Rishabh Raj.

The winners were awarded with medals and certificates The winners and other participants were awarded with medals and certificates. The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Dr. Sabra Habib, Rekha Kumar, Richa Khanna, Principal of Vardaan International School Swaran Batra and Principal of Children’s Academy Shifali Mishra. They appreciated all the participants and gave them prizes.

Iffat Khan, founder of Aadab Arz Lucknow, who has come to her hometown Lucknow from Canada, also attended the event. Iffat Khan gave information about the aims and objectives of Aadab Arz Lucknow and encouraged the audience.

Promoting awareness about cultural heritage The quiz event was designed and conducted by A.K. Srivastava along with his core team members Zuhair Hussain, Mohammad Ahsan, Manish Mehrotra, Imrana Azmat, Sara Fatima, and Sanjay Srivastava. The college principal and her staff also extended their full cooperation in organizing the event. The quiz event promoted interest and awareness among the students about the history and cultural heritage of Lucknow and proved to be a successful and inspiring event.
